Year selection dropdowns
Hello,
I have been a Bethel TV subscriber since 2014, and I noticed that with the transition to the current site that has been around for the last year or two, it has gotten a lot more painstaking to watch older videos.
The old site had a dropdown where you could select the year of the videos that you want to look at. As far as I can tell, in the current site we only have the "Load More" button at the bottom of the page. It seems that you have to load more about 10-11 times to get through a year's worth of videos. I have been listening to videos from 2011 and 2012 recently, and that means that I have to load more about 80-90 times in order to be able to select the video that I want to watch.
That is inconvenient in and of itself, but then after I have finished watching one of those videos, even if I opened that video in a new tab, when I go back to the other tab in which I'd loaded more those 80-90 times, it seems to always reload the page via JavaScript or AJAX or something, so that I'm back in the most recent videos and have to load more another 80-90 times to watch another video.
Would it be possible to add something like those year selection dropdown menus back in? Alternately, could we perhaps use the "Related Videos" feature at the bottom of each video page to show videos that are closely related in time to the one we just watched? Right now it seems like I inevitably see that the "Related Videos" for a 2011 or 2012 worship video are the most recent worship videos from 2020.
I love Bethel TV and the content, but this is my suggestion for significantly improving user experience. Thanks for taking the time to read it!
